We offer two summaries to allow everyone – patient, loved one, caregiver, or researcher – to understand the key issues of this research, each at their own level.
Science is at its best when it is open to all.
Mapping Immune Attacks in MS brains
This project aims to uncover how immune cells behave in different regions of the brain in people with multiple sclerosis (MS).
By studying the interaction between proteins and immune cells, the researchers hope to identify what triggers these cells to attack the brain.
The findings could help develop new, more effective treatments to slow or stop the progression of MS, improving the lives of those affected.
