This project uses a multi-omics approach to map HLA class I/II epitopes and expanded T cell clones in the parenchyma and barriers of the MS brain. By combining high-resolution immunopeptidomics and TCR sequencing, we aim to identify regional variations in antigen presentation that drive T cell reactivation in MS. Findings will be validated in preclinical models to assess their encephalitogenic impact. The insights gained could reveal new therapeutic targets to prevent disease progression, offering MS patients more effective, targeted treatment options.
